I filled out a tranfer request to the Canadian firearms registry and they denied the requeston the basis that the firearm is not pre 1947.(Since I do not have a prohibited permit, by Canadian law i can only inherit firearms that. Finish: rough Military Finish, blued: Grips: one piece chequered Bakelit with Walther-banner, black: Serial number: 6-digits number with suffix 'K' right on frame. 6-digits number with suffix 'K' right on slide. 6-digits number on floorplate of magazine with additional 2 (spare magazine).

its a Walther PP in 7.65 (.32?) There are very few markings on it ,a few stamps of acceptance and the matching serial numbers. The usual Walther' scroll and model designation are not on the slide - nor does it appear to have been re-blued, I read that this was a wartime procedure to speed up manufacture, but I dont know.
